Lending Log is the OneKitPlus app built for one very practical question: who has what right now? When you lend a book, a tool, a charger, or any small item, the problem is rarely the first day. The problem comes later, when you try to remember who borrowed it, when it should come back, and whether you already asked for it.
Why we built it
Most loans are informal. You lend something to a friend, a family member, or a coworker and you expect to remember it later. That works until there are several items, different return dates, and no clear place to review what is still out. Lending Log was designed to remove that friction with a lightweight, mobile-friendly flow.
The goal is not to create a heavy inventory or contract system. The goal is to give you a clean place to save the item, the person, the key dates, and the return status, with reminders when something needs attention.
What is included in the first public release
- Loans with item, person, lend date, expected return date, notes, and accessories.
- Clear states for active, due soon, overdue, and returned loans.
- A saved people list so the same borrowers can be reused quickly.
- Manual reminders plus automatic due-soon and overdue reminders.
- Event history so important changes stay visible over time.
- CSV export when you want a portable copy of the log.
Built for everyday situations
The app is useful at home, in a small office, or inside a side business where items move often but the process does not justify a full asset management tool. Books, games, tools, cables, chargers, adapters, devices, and office items all fit the same need: you want a quick record that is easy to check later.
Simple on purpose
This first version stays focused. There are no scanned documents, no signatures, and no external platform integrations. The priority is speed, clarity, and dependable reminders. That makes the app fast to use from a phone and easy to trust during daily work.
