Travel/Vacation List is the OneKitPlus app built to make trip preparation calmer, clearer, and easier to reuse. Instead of keeping notes in different places, last-minute reminders in chats, and random packing lists in your phone, you can keep the whole trip setup in one place: the trip itself, the packing checklist, and the final things to do before leaving.
Why we built it
Preparing for a trip is rarely just about clothes. There are documents to check, chargers to remember, medicines to pack, and small tasks to finish before walking out the door. That is exactly where mistakes happen: not because the trip is difficult, but because too many small details are spread everywhere.
Travel/Vacation List was designed to reduce that friction. The goal is not to turn OneKitPlus into a heavy travel planner. The goal is to give you a fast, clean checklist system that works well on mobile and stays practical before a weekend away, a vacation, or a work trip.
What is included in the first release
- Trips with title, destination, dates, and notes.
- Checklist sections for documents, tech, clothes, medicines, accessories, and misc items.
- Pre-departure reminders with priority and due date.
- Starter templates for weekends, vacations, and work travel.
- Quick trip duplication so the same structure can be reused later.
Templates and reminders are the real time savers
If you often take similar trips, writing the same list again and again becomes pointless. Starter templates solve that problem by giving you a reusable base that you can adjust in seconds. That makes the app useful even if your trips are simple and repetitive.
Reminders cover the things that are easy to forget because they are not physical items in the bag: checking a booking, bringing a document, charging a power bank, picking up medicine, or handling one last task before departure.
Simple by design
We deliberately kept this first version focused. There is no calendar sync, no attachments, no shared multi-user planning, and no map integration. The release is intentionally centered on the everyday value: build a trip, check what matters, and reuse the setup next time.
