Gift Tracker is the OneKitPlus app built to help you remember what you already gave, to whom, for which occasion, and how that person history is evolving over time. Instead of relying on scattered notes, old chats, or memory alone, you can keep people, occasions, ideas, and completed gifts in one place.
Why we built it
Gift giving becomes messy when you need to remember several things at once: what you already gave to someone, whether a certain idea was already used, what they like, and which occasion is coming next. That is exactly where repeated gifts, weak ideas, and last-minute decisions usually happen.
Gift Tracker was built to reduce that friction. It is not meant to become a heavy shopping platform. It is meant to be a fast, practical reference you can open before buying, when a new idea comes up, or when you want to review a person gift history in seconds.
What the first release includes
- People with relationship, notes, and preference details.
- Occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, and custom events.
- Gift entries with clear status: idea, planned, bought, given, archived.
- Per-person history with duplicate-safe warnings.
- Reminders, fast search, and CSV export.
The real value is the history layer
The strongest part of the app is not only storing new ideas. It is being able to review the full context quickly: previous gifts, occasion, price range, useful notes, saved preferences, and ideas you decided to keep for later. That makes it much easier to choose better and buy with less pressure.
Simple on purpose
The first release stays focused: no ecommerce integration, no heavy attachments, and no features that slow the app down. The goal is to keep gifts, people, and occasions organized with a fast flow that works especially well on mobile.
